Chipola Area Habitat for Humanity has been a part of the community for 35 years. In that time, the affiliate has built 80 homes and significantly contributed to the area’s economy through our operations. The individuals and families served by our affiliate are hard-working people from all walks of life who live and work among us; they are our friends and neighbors and contribute so much to our communities.
Chipola Habitat currently employs 14 staff members: 2 construction site supervisors and 4 affiliate program staff members. Together with our strategic partners, we work alongside our partner families, changing lives and communities one house at a time.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR SUB-CONTRACTORS
Chipola Area Habitat for Humanity relies on local subcontractors to assist in completing our single-family residential homes. We have opportunities for many trades, including Roofing, General Construction and Building, HVAC, Concrete, Block and Brick Masonry, Electrical, Plumbing, Drywall, and Land Clearing. Chipola Area Habitat for Humanity is a drug-free workplace and an Equal Opportunity Employer. BECOME A HABITAT PARTNER
To begin the process of becoming a Chipola Area Habitat for Humanity partner subcontractor, Chipola Habitat will need your license number (as appropriate), proof of General Liability insurance, proof of Workers Comp insurance or exemption, and a list of at least three trade references as well as contact information for those references.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: PREPARATION OF A DESIGN SITE MASTER PLAN FOR THE COOK PROPERTY (DEADLINE EXTENDED)
Chipola Area Habitat for Humanity is seeking written proposals from qualified architects to assist in the preparation of a site master plan for the future development of the 9-acre site referred to as the Cook Property, located in Marianna, Florida, and donated to Chipola Habitat for Humanity. Qualified companies must submit one (1) electronic copy of the material described in the RFP Content section.
